Beitou has many hot spring hotels, public hot springs and hot spring rooms (rent at a per hour/day rate or a per treatment package). Locals rave about this exclusive hot spring enclave hotel and reviews at tripadvisor was smashing! So as a treat for mummy and daddy, we headed for Grand View Resort Beitou.
Important note: This hotel is seriously popular during festive season (think Christmas, New Year) and despite the rates of USD$600 upwards per night, it is almost always full house! Book early to avoid disappoinments. We needed to tweak our travel dates to get 2 nights here *gosh*

We arrived at 1pm that day and were asked to wait till 3pm to check in. Hotel is quite strict on checking in timings and is rather inflexible in changing that timing. The waiting area is at the basement and they had some children books to keep the twins occupied.
We finally got to our room and turns out they have already prepared the baby cot, bottle steriliser and baby bathtub for us. Hotel even provided complimentary kids slippers, bathrobe (too big for toddlers, more for 3 years and up). Very nice touch.
All snacks and drinks in the room is complimentary . The hotel understands fully that you are stuck in some mountainous terrains and probably have little desire to venture far for snacks. Cartoon DVDs available for rental if you wish.
